Diagnosing Pet Neurological Problems
Pet neurological problems can be complex, and require advanced training and experience to diagnose and treat. We begin with a complete physical and neurologic exam of your pet, and order additional testing when necessary.
Pets with underlying neurologic disorders can exhibit a variety of symptoms such as:
- Abnormal eye movements or positions
- Difficulty chewing or swallowing
- Drooping eyelids, lips, or ears
- Dropped jaw
- Fecal or urinary incontinence
- Gait or stance changes

Pet Neurologic Surgery by Referral
We offer pet neurological surgical services by request of your pet’s referring veterinarian. Your pet’s primary care veterinarian will receive updates including a written report which outlines all diagnostic test results, surgical procedures performed, disease prognosis, after care, and medications recommended for your pet. We partner with your pet’s primary care veterinarian to ensure your pet receives the best possible surgical care.
